SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Parking in the city on weekends just got better now that San Francisco supervisors have decided not to revive paid parking on Sundays.

Supervisors on Tuesday shot down a move to bring back Sunday parking meter enforcement.

Paid parking on Sundays was stopped earlier this year even though it generated $11 million annually for the city.

Transit advocates say the loss is a big revenue hit for the city's transit agency.
