San Francisco decides not to revive Sunday paid parking

Parking in the city on weekends just got better now that San Francisco supervisors have decided not to revive paid parking on Sundays.

Supervisors on Tuesday shot down a move to bring back Sunday parking meter enforcement.

Paid parking on Sundays was stopped earlier this year even though it generated $11 million annually for the city.

Transit advocates say the loss is a big revenue hit for the city's transit agency.
