AIR BART train service Oakland airport begins Nov. 22

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Shuttle trains will start running between the Coliseum BART station and Oakland International Airport on November 22, just in time for Thanksgiving week.

BART plans to operate the trains every five minutes, during peak periods, Monday through Friday.

The train will cost $8.15 to ride to or from downtown Oakland, $10.05 to or from downtown San Francisco.

The cable-driven trains will replace the current Air Bart shuttle buses.
