PLEASANTON, Calif. (KGO) -- The impact of Thursday's level three storm is still being dealt with in the Bay Area.

It turns out heavy rain is the best time for the US Geological Survey to adjust the sensitive equipment that monitors creek levels. It's also a golden opportunity for science.
