49ers fans ready for Thanksgiving game against the Seahawks
Just before the much-anticipated Niners-Seahawks game started, fans were out in parking lots at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara enjoying their Thanksgiving turkey.

SANTA CLARA (KGO) -- The much anticipated Niners-Seahawks game is less than 90 minutes away, and fans are out in parking lots at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara enjoying their Thanksgiving turkey.

At most tailgate parties the usual fare is ribs or hot links, but this is Thanksgiving.

Al Castenda said on his menu is something special. "We're going to have some sea chicken, baby," he said as he laughed.

As much as these fans savor a great tailgate feast, they are licking their chops to see Seattle succumb to the 49ers.

Cindy Cervantes, a SoCal 49ers fan said she's been waiting for this day since January. "It's redemption day," she said.

It's not surprising to see someone deep frying a blue turkey and how that symbolizes what the 49ers will do to them at Thursday night's game.

"I'm confident we're going to carve them up tonight," said Ottawa resident Andre Chow.

So loyal are these fans, that they don't mind having Thanksgiving dinner, tailgate-style. Besides turkey, there are all the usual side dishes.

"Mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, the whole nine yards, deviled eggs," Craig Cantin said.

Someone was spotted even grilling broccolini, but be he said it's only for decorating platters of meat.

Young people even got into the act, marching around with a recipe to cook the Seahawks -- 490 degrees for four hours.

This being a holiday, Levi's Stadium opened the gates a couple of hours earlier than usual since cooking time might take a bit longer Thursday.

But there's one couple here with split loyalties and one of them might be stewing after tonight's game.

"She cheers when the Niners score, and I cheer with the Seahawks score," Todd Borrilo said.
