Alex Da Silva, 41, is suspected of raping four of his students over the past six years at his homes in North Hollywood and Van Nuys, Los Angeles police reported. He was arrested around 3:40 p.m. Saturday.

Da Silva was booked into jail in lieu of $3.8 million bail for the alleged sexual assaults. The four victims were his students at the time of the assaults and said the incidents occurred between May 2003 and last month, police said.

His then-students said Da Silva "lured" them to his houses and used "a ruse" to get them into his bedroom, where he then raped them, according to police.
