Pacquaio has no love songs planned for Cotto, maybe a lullaby of fists, like the one he gave to Ricky Hatton.
A lot of people figure this bout is a stepping stone to a Pacquaio mega-bout with Floyd Mayweather, Jr., but Pacquaio says not so fast.
"I don't want to take lightly Cotto's fight because he's bigger than me and stronger and I have to focus and concentrate on the fight because Cotto is a good fighter," said Pacquaio.
Cotto says if Pacquaio is focused on Mayweather, that's fine with him.
"After I beat him on Saturday night, he can fight whatever he wants, I don't matter with that [sic]," said Cotto.
Pacquaio's trainer, Freddie Roach, says Pacquiao's speed and timing will be the difference, and he has no doubts about the outcome.
"Cotto has a lot of habits that we're going to take advantage of and I see a knockout in this fight… you watch," said Roach.
