Report: AT&T and DirecTV merger could happen in weeks

AT&T is moving closer to taking over DirecTV. An agreement between the two companies could come in the next two weeks according to a report from Dow Jones.

A deal under consideration right now values the satellite TV provider at close to $50 billion. This comes after Comcast agreed to buy Time Warner cable for $45 billion.
