SANTA CRUZ, Calif. -- A Beach Hazard statement runs through 11 p.m. tonight.

Water temperatures are a bit cooler than average which means people may experience "cold water shock" from entering the water after being in the hot air.

There's also a High Tide Flood Advisory in effect.

Low-lying areas of the North Bay could see some flooding through Wednesday morning.
