City worker in Texas stung a thousand times by killer bees

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KGO) -- A man in north Texas is recovering after being stung about a thousand times Thursday by an aggressive swarm of Africanized honey bees.

The man is a Wichita Falls city employee who was at work mowing grass near a trail. Two co-workers who tried to come to his rescue were also stung.

They were all taken to the hospital and are reported in good condition.
