Body discovered at San Jose recyclery

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- A body was discovered in San Jose Wednesday morning at the Newby Island Recyclery.

The company's manager says the body was found in a collection truck around 7:30 a.m.

"We informed authorities immediately, keep everybody away and let the authorities do their thing," Newby Island Recyclery's Evan Boyd said.

There's no word yet on the person's identity or how they died. So far, San Jose police are not classifying the death as a homicide.

They are waiting on the coroner to determine cause of death.
