Palo Alto City Council debates cap on building new offices

PALO ALTO, Calif. (KGO) -- The Palo Alto City Council debated one of its most divisive issues Monday night on whether or not to cap the development of new offices. It's something that has been debated over the past several weeks.

Many say a cap will help improve the city's quality of life since many Palo Alto residents are fed up with the heavy traffic and lack of parking in the city.

Many blame all the new offices that have popped up over the years.

The council did not make any final decisions, but they did make progress.
