MARIN, Calif. (KGO) -- Opponents of California's new childhood vaccine law are trying to meet today's deadline to file signatures to put a referendum on next year's November ballot.
They want to repeal the law that took effect this year, which required all California students to be vaccinated and eliminated a religious and personal belief exemption for parents. Opponents want a constitutional amendment to give parents the right to make all medical decisions involving their children.
