Cat swims through flood waters in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KGO) -- Heavy rains turned streets in the Portland area into creeks, and one cat apparently didn't like being carried in the high waters.

It decided the best way to get across the water was to swim.

The owner safely recovered the pet and took her home to dry off.
