MARTINEZ, Calif. (KGO) -- At least two more California Highway Patrol officers are linked to a coworker who stole racy pictures of women he'd arrested.
Investigators say CHP Officer Sean Harrington confessed to stealing explicit pictures of female drunk driving suspects from their cellphones.
The 5-year CHP veteran is accused of sending pictures to at least one other officer working the Dublin office. The other officers could face criminal charges.
The 23-year-old drunk driving suspect discovered that photos had been sent from her phone to Harrington's after her arrest in Aug.
In a statement, Chief Avery Browne of the Golden Gate Division said he is "disappointed and appalled by the allegations."
He went onto say: "We expect the highest levels of integrity and moral strength from everyone in the California Highway Patrol and there is no place in our organization for such behavior."
In the meantime, the 35-year-old Harrington has reportedly been taken off the street and put on desk duty at the CHP office in Dublin. The district attorney will decide next week if they will press charges.
