1 dead after crash on Hwy 17 in Santa Clara County

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- At least one person has died after a crash on southbound Highway 17 in Santa Clara County near Los Gatos early Tuesday morning.

The CHP said the crash was first reported at 2:55 a.m. just south of the South Santa Cruz Avenue on-ramp to southbound Highway 17.

All lanes were blocked for hours but have since reopened.
