The tell-all 2011 biography about iconic Apple CEO Steve Jobs is another step closer to hitting the silver screen.

Oscar winner Christian Bale has been chosen to play Jobs in the highly-anticipated biopic from director and producers Danny Boyle and Aaron Sorkin.

According to Sorkin, Bale did not even audition for the role
