City of Martinez chosen as 'Small Business Revolution' finalist

MARTINEZ, Calif. (KGO) -- You've probably watched a reality show or two about fixing up a home -- and Monday the City of Martinez learned it is a finalist to be featured on a downtown makeover series.

People can vote for Martinez online to be featured on the show "Small Business Revolution: Main Street."

Martinez is competing against four other U.S. cities.

The winning city gets $500,000 to revitalize.

Voting ends next Tuesday.
