SAN FRANCISCO -- People hoping to strike it rich were picking up Powerball tickets Saturday with the eighth largest jackpot in U.S. history up for grabs.

But, the manager at one of San Francisco's luckiest retailers, 19th Avenue Liquors, said he didn't expect to be busy because a half-billion dollar jackpot isn't enough to bring out the big crowds.
