Firefighters break windows, run hose through car parked in front of hydrant

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (KGO) -- This is a good reminder of why you should never park in front of a fire hydrant.

A driver in New Jersey learned that lesson the hard way.

The Hamilton Township Professional Firefighters posted a few pictures of what they had to do when responding to a house fire.

They broke out the windows so they could snake their hose through to get access to the hydrant.

The pictures came with the comment 'this is what happens when you park in front of a hydrant."
