OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Two people were struck by a hit-and-run driver Friday afternoon in Oakland, police said.
At around 3:37 p.m., Oakland police responded to a report of an accident involving a car and two pedestrians in the area of 32nd Street and San Pablo Ave. in Oakland.
One of the victims has died and the other has been hospitalized. The driver is at large.
Traffic has been blocked or redirected in the area as police continue to investigate the incident. Police are asking for witnesses to come forward.
