SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A house fire in San Francisco has forced a family of six to find a new place to stay.



The Red Cross helped find shelter for the four children and their parents.



They all escaped when a fire broke out just after 5 a.m. Saturday morning on 36th Avenue in the Sunset District.



There is no word yet on what started the 1-alarm fire.
