ELEUTHERA, Bahamas -- There's a sigh of relief for the East Coast as forecasters believe Hurricane Joaquin's path will shift and not directly hit the United States.
The hurricane dumped torrential rains across the Bahamas on Friday, ripping off roofs, uprooting trees and unleashing heavy flooding.
There have been no injuries or deaths reported.
East Coast states are getting drenched by rain but forecasters say the Category 3 hurricane should weaken later Saturday.
