A three-week-old kitten was seen being thrown out of a moving vehicle before being rushed to an animal shelter.

April the kitten suffered from road rash, pneumonia and flea infestation after the incident. The kitten is being treated at SPCA Suncoast animal shelter in New Port Richey, Florida, where it will take a few weeks for her to recover.
