Major injury accident cleared from I-280 in San Jose

SAN JOSE -- A multi-vehicle injury accident and spill has been cleared from lanes of southbound Interstate Highway 280 in San Jose this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision was first reported at 5:10 a.m. near the South 11th Street onramp, CHP officials said.

All lanes were blocked as of 5:30 a.m., with two lanes being reported opened at 6:22 a.m., according to CHP officials.

All lanes were reopened at about 7 a.m.
