LAPD searching for missing Hollywood producer
Los Angeles police are searching for a Hollywood producer who has not been seen since before Thanksgiving.

LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles police are searching for a Hollywood producer who has not been seen since before Thanksgiving.



The family of 27-year-old Eric Kohler said he was last seen leaving his workplace in the 1700 block of El Segundo Boulevard in Gardena on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.



Friends said Kohler then missed a meeting for an upcoming project. His family rushed down from Oakley, California after learning of his disappearance.



Kohler was last seen driving a 2015 Range Rover Evoque with black rims and a small dent on the driver's side.



His family said the SUV had no license plates, but had "Hornburg" car dealer plate coverings.



Kohler's car was last spotted at the Food 4 Less parking lot at S. Western Avenue and Imperial Highway in Westmont.



He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 160 pounds, with browns eyes and hair.



Kohler was living in Culver City, according to his family.



According to his IMDB page, Kohler specializes in visual effects producing and his credits include films such as "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," "The Avengers," "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and "The Hangover Part III."



A detective with the LAPD's Missing Persons' Unit has been assigned to his case.
