Police say suspicious device was 'not a threat' in Mission District

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- An investigation into a suspicious device shut down streets in San Francisco for about three hours.

Police say that the device was not a threat.

Sky7 was over the scene on Valencia Street in the Mission District. The Marsh Theatre on Valencia says it was evacuated.

A bomb squad robot investigated the device.

Roads re-opened shortly after 7 Monday night.
