Woman dies after shooting in San Francisco's Mission Terrace neighborhood

SAN FRANCISCO -- A female victim died after a shooting in San Francisco's Mission Terrace neighborhood Thursday afternoon, according to police.

The shooting was reported in the 4500 block of Mission Street near Santa Rosa Avenue at 11:12 a.m.

The victim's injuries were life-threatening, and Officer Joseph Tomlinson confirmed just before 2 p.m. that she has been pronounced dead.
