Bay Area broadcasting legend Al Hart dies at 88

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Bay Area broadcasting legend Al Hart passed away Thursday morning. He was the main anchor of KCBS Radio Morning News for more than two decades before retiring in 2000.



Hart's wife says he died peacefully at a care facility in Alamo after a long battle against a degenerative brain disease.



Hart was 88 years old.
