Street closures planned for Oakland Running Festival

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- If you'd like to take part in the Oakland Marathon, time is running out to register online for Sunday's race.

Organizers were at Jack London Square Thursday to promote the event, which also raises money for non-profits.

Last year, 10,000 people took part in the race.

This year, the five-kilometer race and marathon relay are sold out, but you can still sign-up for the half and full marathons.

Online registration ends Thursday at midnight.
