Will Durst to host Stand Up! for Main Street benefit event in SF

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The second annual Stand Up! for Main Street event is set for September 18 in San Francisco.

It is a fundraiser for the consumer group, Public Citizen.

San Francisco-based political comic Will Durst is headlining again. He says it is a group worthy of support.

"They are do-gooder lawyers, and I know it sounds like an oxymoron, it is like saying a vegetarian butcher, but it really is a good cause," said Durst.

Public Citizen is best known for taking on the nation's rich and powerful in Washington D.C.
