BART launches reward program to relieve overcrowding

BART launched test program that could relieve the overcrowded system.

BART Perks will reward riders who ride BART outside of peak commute hours.

Riders win one point for every ride, but if you take BART during less busy times, you may earn up to six points per ride.

The points can be exchanged for cash rewards. You can join the program by registering your Clipper card on BART's website.
