Multi-vehicle accident cleared from Dumbarton Bridge

MENLO PARK, Calif -- A crash on the westbound lanes of the Dumbarton Bridge blocked traffic in the area this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Two lanes were blocked on westbound state Highway 84 in the middle of the bridge, CHP officials said. The crash, between a white sedan and a black SUV, was reported at 6:47 a.m.

Traffic continued to be backed up well past the morning commute.
