NASA offers 30K reward for poop solution

TEXAS (KGO) -- Nasa is pledging $30,000 to anyone who can help find a solution to a real problem related to space travel.

Astronaut Richard Mastracchio explains the Space Poop Challenge in a Vimeo video.

Participants have until Dec. 20 to offer their ideas on how to deal with common bodily functions that pose problems for astronauts.
