CA school dashboard now available online for parents, student

The California School Dashboard, which allows parents to see their child's school's evaluations, debuted online Wednesday.

The dashboard uses a color-coded chart to track test scores, mathematics and English performance, absenteeism, and graduation rates.

Districts and schools are rated on a color scale that goes from red, the worst, through orange, yellow, green, and blue, the best.
