Injury accident cleared from all but 1 SB I-680 lane in Milpitas

MILPITAS, Calif. (KGO) -- The far right lane of Interstate 680 southbound, south of Calavaras, is shut down in Milpitas because of a collision involving a lumber truck. All lanes had been shut down earlier this morning, but they've cleared three of them.

There has been an injury reported. The CHP says the big-rig's load was unstable and tipped over. Traffic is being diverted off to Calaveras Boulevard. Drivers may use Interstate 880 as an alternate route.

There is no estimated time to reopen the final lane.
