NAPA, Calif. -- A part-time softball coach in Napa has been charged with abusing a 12-year-old boy, a crime that allegedly occurred more than a decade ago.
The suspect Joseph Ortiz, was arrested July 3, and remains in custody more than seven weeks later, on $500,000 bail.
He has pleaded not guilty to two dozen felony charges involving a victim who's now 28 years old. He's also accused of molesting an underage girl a few years ago.
