SAN FRANCISCO -- A bicyclist was hit by a vehicle in San Francisco's Mission District on Monday afternoon.

The collision was reported at 12:35 p.m. at the intersection of 14th and Folsom streets, San Francisco police spokeswoman Officer Grace Gatpandan said.

Gatpandan said the bicyclist was bleeding when emergency crews arrived and that the four-door sedan involved in the collision remained at the scene.

The extent of the bicyclist's injuries has not been released and the intersection remains blocked to traffic Monday afternoon.
