CHP chase ends in head-on crash in Berkeley

BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- A CHP chase ended in a head-on crash in Berkeley at the University off ramp on I-580.

CHP officers in San Francisco chased the driver of a stolen Acura across the Bay Bridge before 2 a.m. Speeds reached 120 miles-per-hour at one point. Officers say the driver of the stolen car lost control and he ended up on the wrong side of the road hitting another car at about 35 miles-per-hour.

The stolen car driver was arrested. The other driver wasn't seriously injured.
