Crews extinguish fire at Burger King in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco firefighters have knocked down a fire at a Burger King restaurant on Powell Street between Ellis and Eddy streets in downtown San Francisco, a fire dispatcher said.

Firefighters received a call about a fire at the restaurant at 35 Powell St. at 2:10 p.m. and had doused the fire by 2:36 p.m., the dispatcher said.
