SF barricade suspect surrenders to police

SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco police responded to a barricaded subject in the city's Inner Richmond neighborhood this evening, a police spokesman said.

The incident took place in the 200 block of Third Avenue around 5:30 p.m., Officer Gordon Shyy said. Officers were able to talk to the man and talk him into surrendering. As of 7 p.m., the subject was in police custody, Shyy said.
