San Francisco students: 'We will keep doing this until people understand'
SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco students took to the streets Thursday morning in protest of President-elect Donald Trump, mirroring the unrest captured in Oakland Wednesday night.

Some chanted. Others held flags and signs. Protesters say the largely peaceful demonstration was orchestrated to voice concerns about a Donald Trump presidency.
"We're trying to inform people about white supremacy, racism, homophobia, everything," said one young woman. "We're tired of always feeling like we never have a voice."

"We do not want to stand for something that is homophobic and hateful to others, people of color," said one young woman holding a sign reading 'Immigrants: Unite to defend our rights,' We as the future of this country are not standing for that, and we're here to protest that."
Students marched down the Embarcadero passing some of San Francisco's most beautiful landmarks, holding their fists high and their signs in the air.
"Donald Trump is a heinous, misogynistic, pompous fool," said one young man when asked why he left school Thursday. "There's no way that the American congress can even fathom an idea from that man."

Another young woman expressed her concern for the students who didn't get a chance to vote because of their age, "We're out here and we will keep doing this until people understand."
