LOS ANGELES -- At least two structures were damaged by flames after a reported tree fire spread to neighboring homes in San Pedro in Los Angeles County Friday afternoon.
Flames engulfed a home in the 700 block of Oliver Street at about 5 p.m. Strong winds pushed the fire to a neighboring garage and shed.
More than 130 Los Angeles firefighters battled the flames, which were under control within an hour. No injuries were reported.
A resident could be seen using a hose to put out a small portion of the fire.
