NORFOLK, NE -- A police officer in Nebraska is being hailed as a hero for stopping a runaway truck after the driver passed out at the wheel earlier this month.
Deputy Todd Volk leaped into action on December 2. He jumped from a cruiser onto the highway, then into the truck's cab, where he was able to stop the big rig on the bridge.
Police say the driver appeared to be sick and officials said it may have been a diabetic reaction.
