Oakland police investigating pedestrian accident

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Oakland police are investigating an accident in which a male pedestrian was hit by a car.

It happened just after 10:30 Sunday night on 35th Avenue and International Boulevard. The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor. There were no arrests.

There is no word yet on what led up to the accident.
