OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- We're seeing more and more holiday sights popping up around the Bay Area. ABC7 News was at Oakland's Jack London Square when the city raised its official Christmas tree.
Eventually, 5,000 white lights and 600 ornaments will adorn the tree. It's a 55-foot Mount Shasta fir.
Oakland's official tree lighting ceremony will take place next Friday.
