MILLBRAE, Calif. -- Deputies are on the lookout for a man who reportedly exposed himself while sitting in a truck near a Millbrae high school on Friday, San Mateo County sheriff's officials said today.

Around 6 p.m., a female was walking east on Murchison Drive near Mills High School, where she saw a man sitting in a faded black truck, sheriff's officials said.

As she got closer to the truck, sheriff's officials said she saw the man's genitals exposed.

She walked away and did not immediately report the incident to law enforcement. About an hour later, sheriff's deputies responded to the scene and searched the area, which is on the border of Millbrae and Burlingame, but did not find the man.

Mills High School is located roughly a block away from Spring Valley Elementary School.

Deputies described the suspect as a white male in his 30's with a reddish-colored mustache and beard, wearing a black sweatshirt with the hood covering his head.

He was sitting inside a faded black truck, possibly American made, with large buckets in the truck bed, sheriff's officials said.

Anyone who may have seen the truck or can provide additional information is encouraged to call San Mateo County sheriff's deputies at (650) 259-2321 or to leave an anonymous message at (800) 547-2700.
