LIVE: SFPD gives update on homeless center workers arrested for allegedly harboring fugitive
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Two workers at a San Francisco Navigation Center for people experiencing homelessness are accused of harboring a suspect after allegedly misleading police about a suspect's whereabouts, authorities said.
The allegations stem from an incident on May 31, when investigators say a robbery suspect fled from police, crashed a vehicle and then opened fire on officers in the Bayview neighborhood, striking one officer.

According to police, the suspect ran to a nearby navigation center following the shooting.
Investigators said two employees at the facility lied to officers about the suspect's location approximately one hour before he was arrested.
Police arrested the two workers last Thursday on obstruction charges, police said.
The case remains under investigation.
