Bay Bridge turns 83-years-old

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Happy anniversary Bay Bridge! Today in 1936-- the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge opened.

When it opened, 83 years ago, the original toll was 65 cents.

Now, you'll pay anywhere from $5 to $7, depending on when you're crossing.
