LOS ANGELES -- It's time to head back to Wonderland in a new Disney movie! The hit Disney Channel franchise "Descendants" is back with its latest installment, "Descendants: Wicked Wonderland," which premieres tonight on Disney Channel and begins streaming July 17 on Disney+.

Kylie Cantrall returns as Red, the daughter of the Queen of Hearts (Rita Ora), and Malia Baker returns as Chloe, the daughter of Cinderella (Brandy) and King Charming (Paolo Montalban) in a continuation of the story that began in "Descendants: The Rise of Red."

After Red and Chloe return from their time-travelling adventure, they find out there are consequences when you play with time.

"I think I came back to this character having lived a lot of life in between filming 'Rise of Red' compared to this one, and I feel like I was able to bring kind of my own personal growth to the character," Cantrall tells On The Red Carpet.

When it came to filming, Baker explains, "It really does feel like a summer camp in a way, because you're there with your friends and it's like the same hours and you're like. 'Oh, I'm gonna get this for lunch today. Oh, I'm going to get this from the-.' It's so silly, but it makes the movie as great as it is."

Watch the "Descendants" stars enjoy a day at Walt Disney World Resort.

The new movie introduces a slew of new characters, including Pink, Red's little sister, played by Liamani Segura (She is also starring in "Camp Rock 3." Talk about a busy summer.)

"Playing her little sister was such an honor," she says. "Her and Malia, we keep saying this, they paved the way for us. They really did."

Also new to the cast are Alexandro Byrd (Luis Madrigal), Brendon Tremblay (Max Hatter), Kiara Romero (Hazel Hook), Joel Oulette (Robbie Hood), Zavien Garret (Felix Facilier), Ryan McEwen (Squirmy Smee) and Dayton Paradis (Squeaky Smee).

But not everything is quite as wonderful as gaining a little sister, some characters are a little more wicked, like Maddox Hatter. Leonardo Nam reprises his role as Maddox (originally the advisor to the Queen of Hearts and Red's friend), but this time, he's a ruthless villain on the search for the pocket watch that can bend the fate of Wonderland - and all time - to his will.

"As I was reading the script, I was like, 'what is going on right now?' And then the scenes that I had with them, I was, like, are you kidding me?." Nam is referring to the scenes he has with Brandy and Ora, who, in this film, also have a special duet together.

Ora tells us, "I was recording it and I just thought, gosh, I wonder what she's gonna want to kind of cut, and I tried my best to like give-"

"No, she didn't," Brandy jokingly says. "She didn't try her best to do anything. What she did was she gave me all of the higher parts, all of work in the song. She gave that to me. When she actually has a higher range... She was being the Queen of Hearts!"

Their song is called "The Girl I Used to Be,' which is available with the rest of the soundtrack wherever you stream your music.

The "Worlds Collide Concert Tour" returns to North America in fall 2026, featuring stars from the "Descendants," "ZOMBIES" and "Camp Rock" franchises, including Malachi Barton, Liamani Segura, Dara Reneé, Mekonnen Knife, Hudson Stone, Swayam Bhatia, Kiara Romero and Alexandro Byrd.
