RAW VIDEO: BART police say man shot himself at West Oakland station

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- BART police have identified the man who they say shot himself by accident Tuesday night at the West Oakland station.

At a news conference Wednesday, BART police said 28-year-old Union City resident Corey Powell was on probation for burglary and a 2011 armed robbery.

Police say Powell is in the hospital in critical but stable condition.
